Since I’m at it, i might as well take some time to share my personal encounters with clients from Hell.

I was fairly new to the business back then and was looking for some jobs.

There was this design firm which needed people to photograph watches, the simple straight-on kind but needed lots of lighting adjustment.

Client: I want you to photograph about 50 watches at one go for me each time.

Me: Sure, I quote XX bucks per shot.

Client: No, that is too expensive. I will only pay you $1 per watch photo and I want the raw files.

Me: ……………. Ok i gotta go i let you know again.

Needless to say, we never spoke again.

But come to think of it, if i ever meet them again, you can rest assure i will give them a piece of my mind about trying to bully photographers into your kind of fucked-up money.

Something along this:

Me: I’m not sure if there are going to be photographers wanting to take this job with your pathetic pay but i sure as hell know many of them will accept a dollar from me to whop your pathetic designer ass and burn down your office.

Then again, that is about the worst client i have ever encountered. If i do have any other encounter and blog about it, you can rest assure it will be far worse than this…

And that sucks big time……
